When we ran across this awesome and hilarious inflatable Star Trek captain’s chair on Design You Trust we absolutely had to figure out A. if it’s real and B. where it’s from.

We’re happy to report that it didn’t take long at all to track it down and it’s no April Fool’s Day joke. The Star Trek Inflatable Captain’s Chair is indeed very real and currently available via those clever folks at Think Geek! We’re hoping it’s only a matter of time before the bridge of the Starship Enterprise is completely recreated in inflatable form.
